My garage port installer does not have spareparts for this GTS 40 motor and suggested to replace the motor.
I found this belt which solved my problem. I got two belts shipped which had different sizes, not sure why, but maybe because the different versions of the GTS 40 motor.
It took me 2 minutes to install the belt. The belt is now working for 2 weeks and works flawlessly. The original belt did last 25 years and I’m looking forward that this belt will last another 25 years. Thanks to Buchhaupt.
